Hello! I’m Joseph Reinkober, better known as the classic Army name, Joe, and I am from Newport News, Virginia. I am a 4th Year student at UVA and an economics/foreign affairs double major. My classmate Christopher Nguyen once said, “Reinkober, what else do you do besides lifting and running?” While I do enjoy both of these activities, and do them quite well if I may add, I’m in fact a multi-dimensional Cadet! I love nature and going hiking as well as fostering dogs from the SPCA. I also am a huge history and movie nerd, my favorite film being the Godfather. I am the Cavalier Battalion c/S2, which basically means I get to see all my classmates bright and early on Friday mornings and give them a brief on foreign affairs (dream job). I am commissioning as an Armor Officer in May, which means I get to drive tanks for a living (also dream job). I’m looking forward to finishing my final semester at UVA and in RTC with a bang (obligatory tank pun)!
